This remarkable Australian Rum has been meticulously matured for five years in American Oak barrels that previously held

Australian Stout.

Since the start of our journey to Reinvent Australian Rum, we have adhered to a specific barrel policy partnering with local

producers to upcycle casks that have previously held

Australian wine, beer and spirits.

 

Our first Select Cask Series Release in 2022 was from a single stout cask and was an instant sellout. Now we are ready to unleash a more mature edition of this Rum - 5 years of age.

The combination of American Oak and quality stout from

local Australian breweries has allowed this Rum to develop

our signature Brix flavour profile alongside bold,

alluring notes of apricot, vanilla, rose & candied orange

with more complex flavours of roasted hazelnuts, toasted muesli, malted chocolate, marzipan & white miso.

At 50.5%ABV (or 101 Proof) Select Cask #006 promises an extraordinary sensory experience, unlike any Brix Rum before.

‘101 Proof’ is traditionally a middle ground for rums, being strong but not explosive. This Rum delivers more punch without overwhelming your palate or your drink, allowing for a richer, spicier, and more aromatic drinking experience.
